For the most part, Jenny and I documented our time in France via iphone and Instagram like the pictures above– I was shooting portrait sessions in Paris almost every day, and so for the rest of the time I put the camera away. But one afternoon in Versailles, we planned to take a few portraits of eachother. If Paris is beautiful, Versailles is always a bit surreal. We ate a picnic (above right) of bread, cheese, wine and chocolate beside the pond. When the sun was going down and everyone was leaving, we took advantage of the empty stairs and courtyards.
I’m really glad we have these.
