Oh how I love shooting by the sea! Every time I arrive to pre-scout at this particular location in West Vancouver, the salt air just relaxes me entirely.

This was my second time photographing this lovely Vancouver family, and four years later with a new little brother now in tow! Our first session was at another of my very favourite locations in the mountains, so I’ll have to think about how we will possibly top these for their next one.

about the session: film + digital

This West Vancouver family photography session took place in August, quite close to sunset. This session was shot partly on film, and the digital frames were colour matched to the film scans in post. Film processing by Canadian Film Lab.
