We met as dusk was falling –a very short and sweet impromptu family photography session to fill an unexpected gap in my Paris schedule– at the Domaine de Madame Elisabeth in Versailles, with the lovely Marion of Fringe et Frange. We had arranged to meet in the main gardens of Versailles Palace, but there was some sort of grand fireworks display and was either closed to outside visitors, or would have been quite packed that evening; I cant recall which. Having been to Versailles (palace) a few times before, I was sort of delighted to explore a new park instead: this location was such a lovely and simple alternative. This set of portaits was taken just around the chateau, but there is a lovely forested area and gardens as well.
