This was my second time happily photographing this family of three, but my first time at this dreamy Hong Kong location in Yuen Long– Ha Pak Nai. The light was filtered and perfect, and the beach was practically ours alone, which felt like such a luxury compared to the beaches I’m used to photographing families at when in Hong Kong.
Their lovely dog Daz was happy to run off leash, which isn’t possible in many parts of Hong Kong, so it was such a treat.

Many families I photograph are looking for a similar light and romantic look to these photographs– wardrobe plays a big part in this. Mum wore a light floral dress with lots of movement, and dad and son wore simple, classic pieces in light and neutral colours.
