Oh Ireland… what more can I say that I haven’t said before, and that everyone doesn’t know already! It’s just one of the best places in the world, and not least of that, the people living there.
I loved photographing this Irish family of six in Phoenix Park– their eldest daughter felt very special, wearing her white first Communion dress, that caught the setting sun just so.

about the session: phoenix park
Phoenix Park is massive (the largest urban park in a capital city anywhere in Europe– nearly twice the size of Stanley Park, for my Vancouverite readers!), so I’d never actually photographed in this part of it before. I think we had meant to meet elsewhere, but were detoured by a large flower festival. A lucky accident, as I think this corner of the park was even more magical.
